   This member of the Euphorbiaceae family was described by John Gilbert Baker in 1880. It is found in Western and Central Madagascar, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow to eight centimetres in diameter, the plant will grow to fifteen centimetres height. The flowers are white.
