This member of the Cucurbitaceae
family was given
this name by Charles Jeffrey
in 1978. It is found in Mexico where it grows in well-drained soil,
using quite some water in the growing-period and
not too much sun. The caudex can grow to twelve centimetres, the
vines up to two metres.The flowers are yellow
Ibervillea is dioecious,
there are separate male and female plants. |
