This member of the Amaryllidaceae
family was described by
Pierfelice Ravenna in 1969.
It is found on the eastern
slopes of the Tungurahua Volcano, Ecuador. It
grows in a well drained soil with some water and lots of
sun. The
bulbs can grow to four centimetres in diameter, the leaves 35
centimetres long. The flowers are pink and green. |
