This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was
given this name
by Baker (several
times) in 1874. It is from South Africa, where it grows in well-drained
soil with some water and sun. The flowers are small and white, and it
can be reproduced by dividing the bulbs as well. I found mine at
Groothscholten in Zwijndrecht, The
Netherlands in 2003.
IPNI and MoBot says: Liliaceae. Uni of Connecticut:
Hyacinthaceae
