This member of the
Asclepiadaceae* family was given this name by Arthur
Allman Bullock in 1953. It is found in Angola,
Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia (Namibia?),
growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The
caudex will grow to six centimetres or more, the single stem up to
35 centimetres. The inflorescent are from greenish to bright yellow.
*This family might been
incorporated in the Apocynaceae
family now.
