   This member of the Menispermaceae family was described by L. L. Forman in 1980. It if found in the dry forests of Thailand, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow up to 30 centimetres or more. The vines will grow to four meters or more. The small flowers are dark red.
