Caudex found in Göteborg Lustgårdar.

   This lovely member of the Tropaeolaceae was given this name by Sparre in 1955. It is found in the Andes; Argentina and Chile, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The rhizomes can grow to five centimetres, the whole plant up to 35 centimetres. The flowers are yellow and orange.
