One way to
let people appreciate the nature’s wonders and vulnerability is
to photograph is. HT1 have over 30 years of experience from more than 50
countries around the world, documented in 100.000s of photos.
These photos are
made available for educational purposes for free, and for
commercial purposes, the pictures can be required for a
reasonable fee.
Many of these
photos can now be found in educational material from universities
around the world, in magazines, books and on the internet. Some
tours have had the sole purpose to obtain the photo of a single
species or a few.
One tour went
to a pristine fog-forest in northern Ecuador. Endless steep
volcanic hills have stopped even the indigenous Indians for ever
exploring this area, no maps or any other documentation can be
found. In a effort to get the area protected, HT1 was asked by
Universidad Central del Ecuador to join a three man spear-head
expedition into this area, photo documentation all flora and
fauna.
To obtain the
perfect photo, expensive gear is second. Finding the
right motive, the right angle, time of day, time of year,
background and even history are more important. The knowledge of
the entire environment and understanding of the contest are most
helpful.
HT1 offers
special assignments and documentary photography for groups
around the globe.
