   This member of the Cucurbitaceae family was described by Jean-Henri Humbert in 1939. It is found in the south-western part of Madagascar, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The vines can grow up to 3,6 meters. The flowers are greenish yellow, and the plant can be reproduced both by seeds and cuttings.
