This rune stone was
found in 1830 during the demolition of
the cemetery dike and deposited in the
cemetery. In 1910, the stone was
recovered in the same place. It is also
known as the Sasser Stone. The bridge
which Sassurr build is still here.

The stone is
granite, 220 centimetres high, 126
centimetres wide and up to 63
centimetres thick. It was carved between
1000 and 1050.
The inscription:
"Sassurr rēsþi stēn en gerði brō".
Translated: Sassurr raised the
stone and made the bridge.
